Gryphons Moon uses the words “noscere, vele, audere, tacere,” as a version of the Witch’s Pyramid, also called the Four Powers of the Magus by older authors. We consider them to be four values of our coven, and also the four promises we make to each other as coven members. They mean “to know, to will, to dare, and to be silent.”
Our next year of full moon rituals will use these four principles as our themes. For February, March, and April (from Imbolc to Beltane) we will do rituals around knowing in different ways; for the summer from May through July, (until Lunasa) we will focus on using our will to create change; from August through October (until Samhain) we will explore daring to care and create community; and for the winter, until Imbolc 2021, we will explore silence.
The coven calendar is currently available through April, and we’ll be doing more planning at our next full moon ritual in February. Imbolc blessings!
